I didn't know you'd started crocheting! I haven't tried it, but I'm probably going to have to learn to do granny squares at the very least. I want to do a nice big afghan that looks sort of like a mosaic or color palette, and I'm not sure how to do what I want with knitting. Are you at all familiar with amigurumi? Apparently it's a Japanese art of knitting or crocheting extremely cute small animals. Eventually, I want to do Fruits Basket amigurumi! :)
